GAH.

I meant to come online on Thursday before I went shopping, but there was a stupid faculty meeting, so I didn't get to read what any of you suggested until just now, and I was really utterly desperate for books.

Anyway, I got Moving Pictures, The Wee Free Men, and Revenge of the Wrought-Iron Flamingoes. That last is by Donna Andrews.

Having a very good mystery-reading week, overall. Read two Agatha Christie books and pinned the killers early on, and in Flamingoes I think I knew a few pages before the detective knew. Oh, and I went to a baby shower at an old farm and clambered around in the decrepit buildings and my mystery story for NaNo will be infinitely better because of it.

We wants a kitty, preciousss.

Oh, and no offense to Lyra 'cause I love her, but I'm pissed off. She was gone the first few days last week, and we had a Sociology test on Thursday, and the teacher didn't make her take it, EVEN THOUGH we had known when the test was for weeks and had had all the information for longer than that.

I'm pissed off, too, because I've been out so much I missed almost all of this Physics unit, and I don't understand, and the test is tomorrow, and he said I don't have to take it but I'm so tired of having to work out when I'm going to do the things I've missed. And I don't want to take the history test I missed, either. In fact, I want to stop going to school. School is bloody stupid. I want to sleep all the time forever. SOB.
