Hallo-'allo-'allo. How are you all today?
Life continues much the same. In a burst of enthusiasm I wrote the entirety of the newest chapter of the Trilogy in two hours last night, in between frantically saving Sociology-related material without looking at it and watching Boston Legal. Have insane urge to stick a pen in my ear and see who notices.
Pyrae, I cannae be upset wi' ye when ye still have me icon. There cannae be more than one t'ousand!
My copy of Monstrous Regiment has disappeared. This sucks, because I was in the middle of reading it. Alas. Have sudden urge to read Thief of Time because, with the exceptions of Maladict (pre-ridiculous-ending) and Reg, Jeremy is one of my favourite Discworld characters. Oh, and Otto. And Vimes. And Vetinari. And Ponder. And Maurice.
In fact, I think the only DW characters yet who I haven't liked were Magrat and Malicia. Hmm.
But! So not the point! The first book of the Trilogy has passed the 50K mark, which I would feel better about if I wasn't sadly aware that the entire thing is a mess which needs a lot of reworking before I can bear to let any of my serious betas (a.k.a. all of you) go anywhere near it. Alas, alack.
I think that when I have finished my Agatha Christie book I will reread the Everworld series and the Abhorsen trilogy. First I should probably attempt to find my library card.
