I may have started something terrible. Jenna saw the Charmander toy I dug out of our closet and won't stop cuddling him, and has now taken an interest in the games, to the point of clicking through a whole original-150 Pokedex online. (She is not a fan of Beedrills).
Of course, the problem with this is that Blue is still missing, Red won't load for some sad reason, I'm in the middle of a game of Yellow, and Gold and Silver both have the broken-calendar problem that means you can't save them. Not that this seems to have stopped Jenna, who somehow stole the Gameboy right out from under my nose while I was asleep, thoughtfully leaving the Yellow cartridge behind. I am wondering if she's out there actually playing Silver, or if she's already given up.
I may have to look into some of these newfangled editions, now. She does have a birthday coming up...
