I told you I was going to be productive. I'm now a third of the way through the third-to-last chapter of "Fallen." I intend to finish today. Hurrah.

Anyway, this is just a quick little update to say hi. Hi.

Oh, and it's official. I can never write characters whose names begin with 'Z' ever again because I will automatically type Zacharias. This does not bode well, as one of the main characters of The Dying of the Dark is named Zenda.

By the way, anyone know of any good name sites besides babynames.com? Need more Persian names.

I like behindthename.com. But if you can find a site specifically for Persian names, you'd probably be best off using that. I believe Farsi's written in Arabic script, and from the little I know, it's hell to transliterate.

There might be an lj comm you can ask -- [livejournal.com profile] linguaphiles, if there's nothing specifically for Farsi (er, that is the language, right? hopefully) -- about common Persian names. In my experience, baby name sites suck donkey balls (especially with etymology), and there are definitely Farsi speakers on lj to be found.

This links to female Persian names. There's a link to the male ones from there.
