I wasn't going to post again because of the 1000-comments meme below but I forgot that I had meant to say this and no one's on anyway.

I need advice for TSPB/NLF/PI/Whatever-the-heck-the-title-is-this-week.

So, what I want to know is, in general, which of these would be more emotionally satisfying?

The original plot twist where Joseph thinks Zac is dead and none of the readers believe he is (mainly because they know me too well) and five chapters later Zac shows up, and not only do you have the horror of what's going on plotwise, but also, OMG Zac.

Or, I could actually explain what happened to Zac during that time, which means a few things.

1. Creepy Jen/Zac interaction.
2. Torture scenes.
3. We know, for a fact, that Joseph's whining and sobbing and general screw-losing is based on a lie, so we can feel even more sorry for the poor dear.
4. When Zac says "You don't know what I've been through!" we do know and so we can be all, "Awww, Joseph, be nice to the poor dear."
5. Also: cookies.

Mm, yes. Can't say more without giving away even more plotwise.
