You know, I thought this would work.
See, the incredibly addictive and oh-so-long story Dr. Jackson's Diary was going to be the perfect way to get me to write. Read a day, write a scene, etc. Finish chapter eight and immediately run to read UU part twenty.
But because it's ADDICTIVE I have now finished all of February and I am still around 2500 words from the end of chapter eight.
NO MORE. No Sims, no Internet, no reading, no Stargate, NOTHING until I finish chapter eight at least. NOTHING. I'm going to finish this, I am. And next time I say I will wake up at eight and write all morning, I will NOT fall asleep again. And next time I play the Sims, I will NOT do so for hours on end in the only air-conditioned room in the house, because it is NOT FUN to be freezing to death in the middle of July.
