I've been reading old reviews for my Yu-Gi-Oh! trilogy, and, you know, I just love the fandom. I love it. I mean, I get all the average reviews by people who are all, "Great fic, bye!" And then I get the in-depth reviewers ([livejournal.com profile] lady_battousai, that means you, hon :D) and they stick with me for awhile, and it's just, squee!

I love reviews in general. I don't need them to keep going - reader input often gets me to update faster, yes, but whether or not I finish something has nothing to do with who's reading it.

It's just, I get such a happy glow when I find reviews in my inbox. It doesn't matter if there are lots or just a few, it's just...glowy. Shiny! And I like feeling shiny. Makes me feel appreciated, you know?

And when Pyrae wrote me fic about my original novel, that was shiny too. It's like a review, but it's long and there are kisses and coffee and stuff. There was no glitter, but that's okay. It was shiny anyway.

I don't know why I'm writing this, but just...thanks. To everyone. Even if you've never left me a review...thanks for, you know, existing.

I wonder why I get in these shiny moods sometimes?

ETA: Duuuude, I remember when the trilogy was fluffy! And then it got angsty, and then I put in random fluff, and everyone was all "Finally, the fluff!" Duuude. I can't imagine what they'll say once [spoiler] happens.

I know what Pyrae and I say. KINK!
