We won our first swim meet yesterday. And by first, I mean first. Never in the history of our school (which has only had one previous season, but whatever) has our team won anything. And we destroyed Milwaukee Lutheran. In their own pool.
And then we all screamed and jumped in, and threw our coaches and our principal and a few of our spectators in, and then we had a prayer but when Amy said "Thank you for letting us win our first meet" we all started screaming again, and it was marvelous.
I think I'm supposed to be at our football game tonight, but I'm going to Whitnall with Pyrae and Merrivere instead. *sigh* Hope Mia and Matthew aren't too disappointed, but I did say I wouldn't go without my posse.

If I hurry, maybe I'll go see some high school football too... that might be a marvelous idea... or something.
I'd be going for the band anyway.

Our band's all right. Most people go to our games to socialise or to watch the dance team.
