Christmas, yay.

Presents were decent this year. My parents got me the first season of 21 Jump Street, which induced mad giggles and snuggling of the box, and also I have a pretty black sweatshirt with a wolf on it. My grandmother forgot to ask for my gift list and had no idea what to buy me, so I am now the proud owner of a fifty-dollar gift card for Suncoast and a twenty-five-dollar card for Target. So, as soon as my parents come home (poor dears, they have to work) and can drive me to the mall, I will be the proud owner of ROTK: Extended Edition. OMG YAY. Dunno what I'll buy at Target.

Did not get many books. In fact...no, I think the only books I got were Sabriel and The Ape That Guards the Balance. Which are fantastic books, but I've read them both. Which reminds me, I finished Catch-22, and OMG. No book should be so confusing and exhilarating as to make me laugh wildly at things that should make me cry. Oh, wait, I also got the new Lemony Snicket book.

My grandma also got me Josh Groban's new CD. I think he's hot. And so now I am learning to sing in Italian, and it's driving me insane that I have only the vaguest idea what I'm saying.

Um, what else, what else. Oh, I played the Sims yesterday! I haven't in a while. But Robert broke it so all my families died and I had to make them all over again so I moved the Stargate family into a different house and they seem to be enjoying themselves.

Oh, and from Lyra's LJ: "Nae just walked by trying to talk to say "Merry Christmas" to Mia, when she sees my copy of Catch-22. She pointed at it and said "Hi," to it and proceeded to say "Merry Christmas" to Mia."

I DID NOT SAY HI TO THE BOOK. I said hi to Lyra. I happened to be looking at the book. *sulks* I have not sunk so low as to speak to books. Really. Believe me!

I'm going to go read Spindle's End and maybe watch 21 Jump Street or play Sims or something. I dunno.

In other news, World Lit has RUINED MY LIFE. Because we had "denouement" for vocab a few weeks ago, and now I am terrified that book twelve will be the last one, unless "Lemony Snicket" is far more intelligent than I and is TEASING ME MERCILESSLY. OMG, OMG, OMG. *faints*

I have a feeling that I need to clean my room today. I don't want to. I don't want to clean my bathroom either, but I'm sure that is on the list as well.

Anyway, have fun. Sounds like you got some neat gifts too. :nods:

I've been telling myself to clean my room for weeks. I figure, I got one week left of vacation, no need to spend right now doing it...

Of course, that's the kind of attitude that will never get it done.

We have RotK: EE and haven't watched it! Aaaagh! Cruel cruel parents!

I have His Dark Materials and I just finished the first part and it is like WHOA guh. But the movies they're making won't have religion in them and now I understand why everyone's going gwah? at that, because, dude, Asriel's whole big explanation about Dust to Lyra was all about Adam and Eve and original sin and dust to dust and all that and you can't take this stuff out or it makes no sense. Oy.

Miss Sims. Mom's still unreasonable. Wah.

I would not be surprised if you began talking to books, especially since one already made you throw it at a wall and it had done nothing to you. Next thing we know, you'll be dating one. We shall make no mention of my marriage to a television show's episode because I'm pretty sure I never said anything about it to you, and also I'm debating polygamy because another has stolen my heart and as far as I am aware there are no laws regarding marriage to episodes.

Well, Lemony Snicket's intelligence depends on one thing:

Does he have a duck fetish?

No. Goodness, that's a lot of fic I never read. I'd have to go through them all before I could possibly vote.

Alas that I cannot, for this is the computer that Grandpa always uses to check football news and I have yet to find a way to erase remembered URLs from the address bar!

Yesyoudidyesyoudidyesyoudid!?!?!?!?

Yesyoudidyesyoudidyesyoudid!?!?!?!?

I saw you. You didn't even look at me, you just pointed to the book and said, "Hi."

Pyrae, were you talking about me?
