My parents are going to fucking KILL me. I'm failing World History. How am I failing history? I thought I was doing better in history! What's wrong with the world? I thought I'd be failing Geometry but it's my best class! Fuck these assessments. They're all screwed up.

Well, with that taken care of, here's a scary thought: I did not think of my parents' reaction to the history grade until after I had begun composing this LJ entry in my mind. Hmm.

But I'm in such trouble. With any luck they'll forget entirely about assessments. If I work hard, maybe I can pass the class and they won't ground me forever.

(Who am I kidding? I'm never going to get this grade up. Shit.)

Sorry, you didn't come across as concerned at all, but like you thought were cool. I doubt you intended it, and yet there it is.

If you aren't busy doing extra credit for history, the Fine Arts Festival's tonight. I don't care about anything going on there for the most part, but they're doing a few parts from the spring musical at 7:50 if you're interested.

I think Dad's taking me to see Master & Commander tonight. If he decides not to, I'll come with you. We can't do extra credit for history. He only gives out one assignment every six weeks, and we don't have one just now.

Have you asked about it? Most teachers will allow extra projects or similar to get up a bad grade.
