Anyway, no time, no time, maybe fifteen minutes tops, can't read the friends list because NO TIME. VBS starts today and I have to walk up to school. I'm with the Older Ones this year, which is frightening,

milestogo13, I did see your post. "Fallen" is actually a Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic. I don't know if you know anything about that fandom, so, yes. Thanks for the congratulations! But, wah, part seventeen and no time to read it, that's just not fair. :(

I have an Official Plan for TSPB now. I have to finish it before we leave on vacation July 22, because then I can beg some poor, lost souls (a.k.a. friends with computers) to print out some of it, and then take it with me and do my editing on the road so that it's not eleven days of complete waste. And then Pyrae can have the hard copy and destroy it with red ink.

Speaking of vacation! Pyrae! You'd better not be going anywhere between July 22 and August 3 because you have to tape Stargate and Monk for me! (No, you don't have to watch Monk, I remember the trauma. Poor dear.)

Back to the writing front. I thought I was done with chapter five, but not so. This one scene sucked in the first draft, and although it's definitely written better now it still just sucks. A complete do-over. Well, no, it has to be deleted, actually. So then I have to add a few scenes to the end to make the length all better (because I'm obsessed with length, don't know why). Which means second-draft chapter five leaves off where first-draft chapter three did.

How odd.

VBS wasn't half-bad. The Older Ones are actually quite nice. And April proved that girls are indeed smarter than boys:

Boy 1: (examining action figure) Mine has sandals.
Boy 2: (the same) Mine has stripes. And sandals, too, wow.
April: They're all exactly the same!
Boy 1: Well, mine has -
April: THEY ARE THE SAME.

Some of the seven-year-olds have better handwriting than I do. Wah.
