Had a long discussion with Alysa on the phone Saturday night. Towards the end, I mentioned someone that made her decide I really really need to deslash. She went on to say she didn't believe I could go a week without slash. I, ever the moron, informed her that I so could and announced I would not read any slash (not including NA since it's not all slash and it would be insane to try to catch up) for a week. After we hung up, I checked LJ, and lo--Maya had finished UL18.
I think Alysa was right, actually, though. I'm going into withdrawal and I'm spending a lot of time wandering aimlessly around the house. Rewatched all the SG tapes I have (alas that I've been reusing them, so there were only about six eps). Now I'm just working on my lyrics document, which is not very exciting, and soon I think I will have about three hundred songs memorized and looping through my head. Also I need to go to the library later and pick up a book I requested because Alysa wants me to read it. And I need to pay some fines. Wanna come? Don't know when I'll be going.
Um, sure. But only if you come over first and beat me over the head so I finish chapter five of TSPB first. (Must be productive! Less than three weeks!)
Oh, and don't read the rest of this comment. I just have to wibble about UL for a second.
this is the second time in a week i have lost pansy and it makes me very sad oh poor draco.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT YOU KNOW I COULDN'T AVOID SEEING IT SPOILER SPOILER KILL IT GRR ARGH HISS
Uh I have to clean up a bit first, Erik's got some Internet buddies from Kansas or something coming up. Then I will dance over to your house, bang repeatedly on the wall, probably eventually give up, return, call you to let you know I'll be banging repeatedly on the wall, trudge back over, and be let in slightly more promptly. You guys should really get a doorbell or a knocker or a really loud bell or something.
Ok, will jump around a bit. But clean first. And also reheated pancakes for breakfast. Or lunch. Whatever. May be a li'l bit yet. Feel free to whack yourself over the head to write.
One False Step tonight. Daniel imitates a UAV and has an incomprehensible argument with Jack. Classic. But why are they rerunning eps I've already seen instead of ones I haven't?
What disturbed the messengers more than the unfamiliarity, however, was the bits at the end of their instructions that said things like "To keep them from killing you, immediately say the following..." It just wasn't very reassuring.

I keep confusing NA with UL. It's very odd. Dumbledore? Where? Huh?

And, as long as you're on slash withdrawal, you might as well get some enjoyment out of the week.
*is a fangirl and lovin' it*
I shall be leaving now. Come jump up and down outside the window whenever.
