(no subject)

In the spirit of Keeping My New Year's Resolutions, I will be outlining my plan for each one. Let's start with TSPB, which I was actually intending to start with but which leapt even further ahead of everything else in the last, oh, three minutes or so (thank you Richard!).

Therefore, I present TSPB: The Plan.

1. One more edit from me. Includes adding all those things I was talking about a few weeks back, and anything else you can think of, Jennifer.

2. MUST go to Pyrae and KatieBailey in its entirety. Soon, so they can read it before semester numero dos gets overwhelming like this one did. (Anyone else want a look?)

3. Another edit based on reader comments.

4. A synopsis. I hate synopses. *sigh*

5. Sent to the New Writers thingummy yayz!

6. If that doesn't work out, which, you know, it probably won't, I have no illusions there, query letters to agents!

HAPPY 2006! Off to explain to my Spanish partners why I did not finish the script. (I got distracted! Reid got beat up by Hotch! Man, I love Criminal Minds!)

NAE: OMG SPACE

STORY: *is passive*
NAE: OMG I HAVE ALWAYS HATED THAT LINE *hates, is unable to go on for awhile*

STORY: jumped
NAE: There has got to be a better word than that. AHA! LUNGED!

STORY: You may as well write "Zacharias is the bestest" and be done with it.
NAE: He is, isn't he?

And that is what the last five minutes have been like.

The scary thing? Printing it out doesn't help. This is exactly what my frantically scribbled notes look like, except they encompass the whole novel and I'm halfway through the first page.

Editing is my favourite thing.
