Is there no one here? Such a slow day. Maybe I will just go over to the Discworld community and randomly hit the refresh button to see if there are any truly inspired casting suggestions.

I get lots of plot bunnies. They usually die very easily though. Very sickly, my plot bunnies. :P I expect I shall have to pick one for this year.

I keep the bunnies in a folder. Most will never again see the light of day. Perhaps they shall become vampire plot bunnies and escape to wreak havoc.

Ooh, that's a plot bunny in and of itself. Heh.

Haha. Vampire plot bunnies. Yeah. They escape and feed on the souls of aspiring writers, and they find themselves inexplicably unable to pull themselves out of writers' block.

Writing anything at the moment? I'm struggling through some Potterfic. Well, Potter crossover.

I should be writing. I have to finish the second draft of one novel, and work on the first book in my trilogy, and work on one or both of my fanfics lest I lose my reviewers...

And yet I am not writing.

Obviously I am infested with the vampire bunnies.

What kind of crossover?

From: [identity profile] twilightsecrets.livejournal.com

Wow, you've actually finished an entire novel? *boggggles* I don't think I'd have the perseverance. I'm totally a giver-up-er.

I've never really written fanfic before. Except one based on a Star Wars game. I just don't really know canon that well, and I'm afraid I'll screw it up.

It's Lara Croft/Harry Potter. No pairings. I just thought, well, Lara's British, Harry's British... it might be cool.

From: [identity profile] naodrith.livejournal.com

That does sound cool.

Well, I claim that it's finished, but the truth is that about halfway through it completely escaped me, and the second draft is so different it could actually be considered to be a completely different story with the same characters and plot...if that makes any sense whatsoever...

From: [identity profile] twilightsecrets.livejournal.com

YEah, that does make sense. Actually, I get the impression that is exactly what's supposed to happen. Like, your final draft looks nothing like the first draft.

And I'm hoping Hogwarts Raider isn't a complete disaster. We shall have to see though. :P Feel free to mock me if it is though.

Heh, well, I'm hoping to get at least the first chapter up by Thursday, which is when I leave for a short trip to Thailand and Malaysia. So we'll see then. :)

Yay, now I have something to look forward to this week!

Ooh, I envy you. I've never been out of the country.

From: [identity profile] twilightsecrets.livejournal.com

Heheh, but America is so large, and so varied. It's one of the places in the world where you don't have to leave the country to experience something different.

Very true. We're going up to the Northeast sometime this summer, for the first time.

Still, I'd like to see the pyramids.

You too! See you around!

Well...not see...you know what I mean.
