I've dropped to a 3.3 GPA. In fact, every two-semester class I took, my grade dropped, except for Theology.
I managed a D+ in World History, and rejoiced. Took a C+ in Creative Writing, have no idea what I got on that stupid short story but it couldn't have been too bad. B in Geometry - guess I'm taking Advanced Alg/Trig and Physics next year after all. Everything else was just about what I expected, nothing huge.
Now, about the University of Southern Maine.
I love Maine. I have never been to Maine, we're going this summer, but I love it. Cannot explain my randomized love for this state, but I think that, with the exception of Wisconsin or Minnesota, it is my favorite state.
There are 530 computer work stations, which is nice if I cannot bring my own precious.
They have a drama program, and a student newspaper.
I can get a Bachelor's in Theatrical Production. Can also study Journalism or Criminology, depending on how long the love-of-mystery-novels phase wears on.
Required units in high school:
English 4
Foreign language 2
History 2
Mathematics 3
Science 4
(Science units that must be lab) 2
Social studies 2
No problems there. No problems with the recommended units, either. It's a lot more lenient than my original plan.
It costs $12,748 per year for tuition and fees.
I want to go. As if that wasn't obvious from the time I'm taking to write this up. I want to go. I have two years to earn enough scholarships to go. Eee.
