I hate fanfiction.net.

Anyway, I was going to write my thoughts on SG: Atlantis from last night, but it all boils down to two things:

1. Okay, if the shield was extended, wouldn't that mean that the Jumper is now inside the shield and wouldn't work?

2. OMG CARSON-CENTRIC EPISODE NEXT WEEK

Have not yet watched SG-1. Will do so as soon as I can bring myself to care.

Pyrae, [livejournal.com profile] applefreak, and I went to see I, Robot last night. It was still really, really good.

I have a headache and I have no brush.

I'm adorable. What are you doing tonight? I think we might do something together. Is currently debatable...

Not much. Babysitting my sister while the 'rents are at the baseball game, but Robert could always babysit her instead.

The thing I don't get about that episode is, why didn't they just put the shield for a kilometre around the 'gate or so? Any Wraith devices coming out would crash-land instantly, and they could expand across the entire planet.

That would work, unless it's one of those Stargates in space. I don't think we actually saw if the 'gate is on the planet or not.

It was on the ground. The villagers were leading them to the "Wraith-ring," and they knew the location.

Oh, right. In that case, it was just silly not to protect the 'gate. It was probably more for plot than anything else - without the trek back to the Stargate, the team probably wouldn't have run into the villagers at all.
