Ah, and then there were two more things to be said:

NaNoWriMo. Is not open yet? ? Whatever. So long as it's open pretty soon.

The debate. Yeah, I watched most of it. I got confused when they started talking about Iran/Korea/Russia and stopped. My thoughts:

If I could vote, and I had to vote based solely on that debate, I would vote for Kerry.

I mean, I'd vote for Kerry anyway, but seriously. The man is clearly intelligent. He knew what he was talking about. He didn't attack Bush as a person. He defended his "inconsistencies" well. He made jokes. Bush, on the other hand, still cannot pronounce nuclear. He brought up the "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time" thing at least five times, probably because he didn't have any other ammunition. He's so arrogant, he's not even considering the fact that he could lose.

God, I hope he loses.

I wasn't actually pissed off about it until today, because, in addition to being a Lutheran school, this is also a Republican school. I know of no one else who is not a Republican, and of only one person with the sense to judge the candidates on the merits of who they are and what they stand for, not because of their political party.

So imagine, if you will, a Physics class without a teacher (because his wife had a baby) and twenty-some students snickering over how badly they think Kerry did.

Thank God calculator games are so addicting.

(Speaking of calculator games, I see them when I close my eyes. Is that bad?)

NaNoWriMo should open at 3:00 PST, according to the website--I thought it would be midnight, but I guess they have to sleep sometime.

If you thought that Kerry did well, and the Bush fans think that Bush did well, then who really did do well? People tend to be critical of arguments they disagree with, but not of ones that they do.

Are we talking about calculators with actual games on them, or just fun with numbers? (Short Shameful Confession: In high school, and in university, I spent most of my time doing prime factorizations of numbers, for fun.)

These are actual games, which should not be addicting but are. Dangerous things, graphics calculators.

*laugh* I was watching the debate with my roommates and a couple friends, and we figured that if we played a drinking game where we took a shot every time Bush said "wrong war, wrong place, wrong time" we'd be plastered within fifteen minutes.

Heheh, and that last post you made about the porn and being in a Lutheran school.. amused me. My aunt's a Lutheran and my cousins go to a Lutheran school, so I know just how mindboggling something like that is. XD So funny.
