1) My journal is called "In the light of day or in the dark of night" because those are lyrics which I quite like. I have no idea what they're supposed to mean in reference to my journal. They're just cool.

2) My subtitle is "Put the chicken back..." because it's a quote from Hornblower, which was my obsession when I started this journal, and I'm too lazy to change it. Oh, and it's funny.

3) My friends page is called "Have you seen my chameleon?" because it is once again a relic of the time when I created this LJ. That was a quote I found quite amusing from TSPB. It has since been cut, I believe. Sigh.

4) My username is naodrith because...okay, start at the beginning. I entered the online realm when I was twelve, under the username of tuqei, which is still my email address today. That was the name of a character in my then-current novel. (It was a duck. GOD, I've had that particular "fetish" for a long time...) Over time my name changed with the times, and when I finally created my website, I called myself Naodrith, the name of a dragon in my then-current series. (No relation to the Pernese dragon-naming system.) Since the LJ was an outgrowth of the website, sort of, I took that name here as well, to make everything make sense.

5) My default userpic is my Daniel "resistance is futile" icon because Daniel is pretty and I like looking at him. Well, that used to be the logic. I'm thinking of ditching that one, making the duck my default, and adding a lilac icon. BECAUSE IT'S ALMOST MAY.

6) My journal name is Naodrith because I am too bloody lazy to make up something else. People call me Nae if they want 'cause that's the proper nickname.

Okay, memeness done. That said, a list of things I have to talk about.

1. I edited part of TSPB and I think I know what I want to write next. YAY!

2. In lieu of getting twenty bucks from Grandma I made her buy me Secret Window. Now I have a not-too-good horror movie I won't watch much because I have nightmares, and no money to see Finding Neverland. This is because I am a shallow brat who would rather have prettiness now than prettiness Wednesday. Sigh.

3. The ideas are attacking. Make it stop!

4. I think I'm done with NaNo. I should check.

5. National Treasure is awesomely awesome and the paper was WRONG, as usual. Three and a half stars because the romance was unbelievable and I think there were some cliche lines, though I can't remember any of them at the moment.

6. Pyrae, my sweet darling Pyrae...watch Secret Window with me on Wednesday.

7. If the bell doesn't ring soon I will scream. HUNGRY here!

It's almost May? Man, I missed that completely! It was like fwoosh!

Is Secret Window skeeery, or will the prettiness make up for it?

Yes, you did miss it completely, person-who-hates-Terry-Pratchett.

We have to watch Secret Window again and listen to the commentary. I'd do it myself, but I get scared.

I'm considering seeing Alexander and Finding Neverland. I really couldn't tell you why I'd want to see the first one, but the second one -- well, it involves Peter Pan! Squee, I say. :)
